Harris County is one of the major vote cheat counties in the nation.
The state passed a law placing the election duties back under an elected official instead of an appointed Election Administrator. The law was targeted at Harris County. Harris County sued and eventually lost through the appeals process.
The County Judge (county executive), Lena Hidalgo, had three of her aides indicted for misuse of official information and tampering with a government record. She then took a leave of absence for “depression treatment” at an undisclosed out of state facility, ala Fetterman. She just returned to office on October 2.
Harris County is Sheila Jackson Lee territory. She is not running for reelection to her House seat and instead is running for Houston Mayor. That should give everyone a good idea how much graft and corruption runs through Harris County when the Queen of Mean finds it more lucrative to be mayor.
