Billion dollar public companies have institutional investors.
Betcha the institutional investors will be totally on board with this.
The EPA emission regulations are enforced by the states. I don’t know but suspect that the corporations in question may already know and under state reporting laws already report the emissions.
One can only wonder if the current effort makes emission reporting for Google mandatory. Google is probably presently exempt under long standing precedent that it makes no product and thus has no emissions.
