Would be good to know what the actual status of that money is. Can we ever get some of it back or has it already been dispersed?
The Ukraine is front door to Russia, a well-used path of invasion both from Russia and to Russia. There is no way that Russia can allow NATO to squat right along its border in the best spot to invade Russia.

The Media and White House has spent all day to let everyone know that the $6 billion was in fact Iran’s money and it is being used for “humanitarian” expenses only.
They are grinding this bs story into the ground. Saying anything else is misinformation.
I liked what a guy on the radio said today, that Iran could spend their money elsewhere out of their budget knowing that the humanitarian funds and such were going to be covered.
When Obama chose to send 1.7 billion to Iran, my belief at the time, and still is, that the radicals who overthrew the Shah and his government, and turned Iran into a 3rd world craphole, were not entitled to any of that money. The money held by the U.S. was paid by the Shah’s government for military equipment. It never got the equipment because there was a coup, and the government was dissolved. The country was taken over by radicals, who swarmed our Embassy, and took American hostages. It was never the radicals’ money to begin with. They weren’t in power when that money was paid to the U.S., and they never should have been given one cent of it, ever.
