Just so. The filing deadline for New Hampshire closes on 10/27, and the respective other primaries in the coming weeks. The rats could get judged in some states to reopen a la Toricelli, but not all, and it would be a PR mess. My read is that the honchos are going with Biden/Harris as the ticket, then substituting her in for the top spot later. It’s not the way I would have played it, better to dump Biden earlier so someone more electable than Harris could win the primaries. But then again I’m not an effin imbecile
With this indisputable fact clearly in mind, I think Newsom the Vile is attempting to position himself as politically "moderate" (or at least as a moderate Democrat/Communist) to improve his viability for a run at the Democrat/Communist Party nomination for POTUS. That's all this is. If anyone thinks that Newsom the Vile is concerned about using taxpayer money to buy Trojans for kids who identify as boys, well, they should seriously consider a labotomy.
