Kirby followed up that interview by appearing on the morning show with Dana Perino and said almost exactly the same prepared remarks as they day before.

It's clear that the Biden administration doesn't want to commit to any policy position right now, especially one that changes a prior position.

Kirby even repeated the "I have no announcements to make today" I line that he used the day before. That's the real testament to Biden's commitment to Israel, basically two days in a row of no policy announcements.
