Biden: ‘Israel Has the Right to Respond — and, Indeed, Has a Duty to Respond’ to Hamas

President Joe Biden addressed the nation for the second time about the war between Israel and the Iranian-backed Palestinian terror organization on Tuesday, declaring “Israel has the right to respond — and, indeed, has a duty to respond” to Hamas attacks.

Flanked by Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Biden reacted to emerging news of the 1,000 Israelis killed, nearly 3,000 wounded, and over 100 kidnapped on Saturday.

“If the United States experienced what Israel has experienced, our response would be swift, decisive, and overwhelming.”

Israel is responding to the organization, Hamas, that they helped create decades ago, so that they would have “controlled opposition” to Yassir Arafat.

Hamas has been buying weapons from Iran, Syria, and the Sudan coming in from Egypt for years. These aren’t all new weapons.

Not that it matters much, but I think Biden has generally always supported Israel. It will be interesting to see what direction the White House goes in the coming weeks, because we really don't know who's in charge- the Obama/Iran loving crowd (as represented by Harris); The DNC/Hillary Neocon war loving crowd(featuring Tony Blinken); or the Biden finally flexing a little muscle crowd.

I think the main reason Biden didn't address Iran, or military activity is that the behind the scenes players are all still jockeying - and Biden brain is a scrambled mess and he is instructed not to say a word. Notice Blinken and Harris were standing guard to disrupt any off-script rambling.

I’ve seen it mentioned in numerous places over the years including “Israel friendly” places. If you google the terms you can pick the most credible source yourself. It’s not a conspiracy theory or anything.
