Russian President Vladimir Putin made his first comments on the recent attack by Hamas on Israel during talks in Moscow with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani on Oct. 10.
During the meeting, which was filmed by Russian state-owned media, Putin claimed that the situation was "a clear example of the failure of U.S. policy in the Middle East."
Putin alleged that the U.S. has not taken into account "the fundamental interests of the Palestinian people," adding that it is necessary to create an "independent sovereign Palestinian state."
This requires the implementation of "the decisions of the UN Security Council" on the matter, he said, without specifying which decisions he was referring to.

As I recall, then Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin basically offered Yasser Arafat concessions that even included the kitchen sink, and Arafat still rejected them. They don't want their own State. They just want to be able to continue their destruction of Israel, no matter what concessions Israel makes. Give them an inch, and they will take a foot. They will take any concessions made as a sign of the other side's weakness. They are no different than Democrats when it comes to negotiations. To Democrat and terrorists, the definition of the term "negotiate," is "getting their own way on everything."
They are not meeting for peaceful purposes.

I have a feeling there are going to be a lot fewer people in Palestine that need a state…….. and much less land for them to be there.
Realistically, I doubt he cares about Israel vs Palestine, but he’s courting Middle East allies in case he needs them to cut off oil to USA in the future.
