Yes, they took down the House Speaker without securing the votes to replace the House Speaker.

They’ve got a de jure GOP majority. The Dems welcome the few RINOs at a time that they need to get a de facto Dem majority.
The last thing Republicans should do is elect ANY speaker who requires Dem votes.
Any Republican who joins with the RATs know they will end up like Liz Cheney. Being kicked off this gravy train will require some pretty big bribes.
If the dems hate Jordan, then is is the right guy.
That should be all the incentive needed for the Republicans to elect Jordan.

Yep, there is absolutely no reason to get in a hurry and rush. Hold the line. Jordan or no one. Let them stew until they get pressure from their own. Senate is not going to let anything good through anyhow.
