Actually the “poison Ivy League” moniker is taken. It was used to denote the small New England colleges like Williams, Amherst, Bowdoin, etc. who competed for admissions with the Ivies.

Rational human beings realize that it is insane to give ANY contributions to the vast majority of “ universities “.

They are nothing but indoctrination centers for socialism.

Just look at what’s taking place on U.S. campuses this week.

Given the state of ‘higher education’ these days, neutrality over the deaths of 1300 innocent Jews is a STEP UP in morality for those s-holes.

Do universities have to comment all wars going on in the world?

Tenure is the worst thing to ever be implemented in education. It protects all the worst people, and is used as a weapon against what we used to call “educators”. Also, colleges and universities hiring their presidents from academia only worsen the problem.

It's a waste of money now, since colleges and universities discovered that they can raise tuition to infinity with no consideration of the benefit to be gained from the product, and the US gov't will always guarantee the student loans.

A few years after graduation, my college opened a Jim Crow Museum of Racist Artifacts. Any thought I ever had of donating to them disappeared immediately.

They also give it to people who are already there on Food Stamps and Pell Grants.

I had to work myself through school, or so I thought, until two guys said to do what they did. They just signed up for all Welfare, had zero income and no loans, and got all of their stuff paid for.

They came from the same high school and had an apartment together.

We encourage no self respect, from early-on, and we need to eliminate Welfare for anyone voluntarily not working. Additionally, don't let school donations go to these slothful people.

Agreed with everything you posted, however we cannot discount government influence. How many colleges/universities are there in America, even the private ones that are free from government interference? 2-5?

It’s amazing to me how plain dumb a person can be and still be President of a major university.

It’s gotten to where a ditch digger has more IQ and moral structure than someone like Magill.
