“Alleged”
Have had the same thought, that “alleged” is overused when it’s plain as day what happened and who did it. I guess certain people have to use it for legal reasons.
Allegedly
“Alleged” .... Dictionary says “Represented as existing or as being as described but not so proved”. By that definition, we could say “Alleged President Joe Biden”
