How did Russia destroy more airplanes than Ukraine ever had? Maybe they counted the Russian losses as part of the total, or maybe they just lied.

Why don't you try to identify the 491 Ukrainian aircraft Russia claims to have destroyed.
It won't be easy because Ukraine never had that many airplanes in its air force.

Plenty of surveillance drones get damaged or lost. Neither side is very good at destroying them due to their small size and surprisingly good performance under EW stress.
It would not surprise me if thousands of drones have been lost by both sides. Thousands of kamikaze drones alone have been built and used in the last few months.

Note also that the Tass article claims that Russia has destroyed more helicopters than Ukraine ever had.
Doesn't that make you question the accuracy of the Tass article?
