In Jordan’s defense he wants another vote three months from now. In addition to making life a living hell for the 22 Rinos who opposed Jordan , that will also give time for people who step up to primary the RINO 22 . 3 months to build up enough of a war chest to become a credible primary threat. Organize now to take down those corrupt 22. Especially so if your voting process has not become corrupted yet.

I don't know if this will pass the constitutional test. Why require a Speaker if the members can pass a resolution creating a half-Speaker?

If they "empower" McHenry, then that takes the pressure off of them to choose a Speaker. We don't need a Continuing Resolution Speaker, we need a constitutionally-defined Speaker of the House.

It's time for the Republicans to do their constitutional duty and choose one, and not waste energy trying to bypass the Constitution.

Actually, the Republican majority in the US House of Representatives did not accept the conservative minority attempt to replace the Speaker of the House who lost a no confidence vote.

The entire majority are not Rinos, in fact they are Republicans
