True, but it’s a lifelong process of successes and failures- Young Christians are very susceptible to falling for temptation - more mature Christians are less apt to fall, but are not invincible to failure- Even Paul claimed complained that he always “Did what he didn’t want to do and didn’t do the things he should do” etc=
Someday we will be perfect- till then though we are always gonna struggle with one sin or another- the diffetrence is though that saved people are convicted by the Holy Spirit when they sin, and eventually confess and ask for help- Unsaved people feel no guilt for sin and make sin their whole way of life and even though they too get convicted by the Holy Spirit that they have sinned, again, they feel no guilt or desire to change for most of their sins- (Some obviously feel moral guilt for certain sins, and they try to change, but they ignore other sins which they don’t deem ‘as bad as’ the ones they try to suppress through sheer willpower- )

Many (not all) “mainstream” Christian churches lost or abandoned any claim of moral leadership some years ago, alas.
I happen to believe this is one major reason why their membership and attendance have nose-dived so much.
If they aren’t even going to teach basic morality, what are they good for? Why attend? Why belong? Why support? They’ve quite literally “thrown the baby out with the bath water” and turned themselves into useless shells of organizations.
That people decide to walk away from them is nothing I am able to criticize. Would you patronize a grocery if it had no food on the shelf?
