Sales of MADE in USA arms are doing very well, and employing many taxpayers. Russian sales are way down and export production is now very slow.

About the cost of the materiel sent to Ukraine...

The Russians were showing off fragments of an ATACMS missile, with a date of 1996! Not exactly the newest, in fact near the end of service life.
Far cheaper to be used with good effect than pay for EPA-approved dismantling. Such a deal.
