There was a PSA flight in Ca in the 80’s where a ground worker boarded a plane with a gun and killed his former boss, who had just fired him. Then he went up to the cockpit and killed both pilots, then killed himself, leaving the plane to nosedive and kill all passengers.

As a result, ALL CREW MEMBERS had to go through security from then on but NOT GROUND PERSONNEL.

So, look for some dumba$$ knee jerk reaction to deny all pilots access to the jumpsuit in commuting to or from work.
