The charge centers on the transmission of false information to Georgia legisaltors on Dec. 3, 2020.

Ellis was publicly bitter than Trump wouldn’t pay her legal bills. Will be interesting to see if this deal includes a proffer to testify against him in court.
They’re dropping like flies. Threaten to end someone’s world with the full weight of the US government and it’s pretty easy to get them to cop a plea on anything minor.
Well, some people.
1) it’s the Georgia state government not the US government
2) she was facing 20+ years in prison- that’s not minor.
Unlike Sydney “Release the Kraken” Powell, she actually was being paid by Trump to represent him in at least the Georgia case.
That’s at least 3 maybe 4 people so far that have taken plea deals in the Georgia case.
You are right about the US government. My bad. Regarding the 20+ years. That is my point. She WAS facing it. Now she’s not.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, 2024 is gonna be one for the history books. And no, I’m not just talking about this case. I’m referring to EVERYTHING.
Keep your powder dry. Learn how to make beef jerky. Get some laying hens.
And most importantly, get out of the city.
I wish someone with a legal background would weigh in. Is this just part of the psy-ops? Offer these people extremely sweet deals they would be dumb to reject to present the appearance of Trump guilt? And, are these deals jury tampering?
All of these plea deals are expected. No surprise.
Persecution overcharges and then “settles”.

The only thing I see dropping are the voluminous RICO felony charges and the lengthy prison sentences that come with them - if convicted.
So a couple of lawyers have entered misdemeanor pleas and received fines and probation.
They’re pleading these cases out because the PROSECUTION does not want their evidence, or lack thereof, on public display before the main event - Trump.
Plea deals are definitionally not jury tampering. These people are pleading out to avoid the ruinous expense of trial and the very real possibility that a corrupt jury will convict them for conduct that is NOT CRIMINALLY ACTIONABLE. The prosecutor is willing to offer favorable deals because this whole thing is for the PR and she’s aware that the conduct complained of is not actionable.
And BTW...this one is state,not Federal. But it's obviously being managed by Rat Party Headquarters.
Just wait til they decide to get serious about getting rid of guns! The molon the labia crowd been itching for them to come door to door for decades now, but they aren't that stupid.
The four plea deals all seem to involve promises to testify against Trump and the remaining codefendants. This is a classic RICO move, rolling up an organization.
