As someone clever than me pointed out, why are the ‘Palestinians’ and their descendants the only refugees left over from the 1940s?
The Germans living in what was Czechoslovakia were forced out. Why aren’t their descendants still living in refugee camps? The same goes for the Germans living in what had been Germany but now is Poland and Kaliningrad. Then there are the millions of Hindus and Muslims who found themselves on the wrong side of the new borders of Pakistan and India? Are there still camps for them? No. They moved and got on with their lives.
So why not for the Palis?
