It’s interesting that Scripture tells us that believers will be beheaded for their refusal to take the mark and we see here in reality these days, that islam’s most infamous and apparently common for of execution of infidels is beheading.
The end times movies showed it as using the guillotine and attributing it to the antichrist police state.
However, in light of the situation in the world today, it does lend itself to islam, unfortunately, becoming a major force to deal with yet in our near future. And it is feasible that they would be the ones entrusted with the task of executions.
Islam quite plainly denies the Deity of Jesus Christ.
Reduces Jesus Christ to “prophet” instead of Savior.
Denies that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
According to Dave Hunt (RIP) they claim a look-alike Disciple was actually crucified.
Has a long history of beheading.
They’ll be perfect foot-soldiers for the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
Recall that the Eastern leg of the Roman Empire used to encompass Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya and part of Iraq.
I’m not discounting an Islamic AntiChrist even though it’s a bit of a stretch considering how much trust he’ll garner from Israel.
