It is already to late for an effective Israeli invasion...
Most of the enemy combatants have already had time to escape to safety...

It is turning into a Bibi CF...

Biden says if Hamas releases the hostages, he will call for Israel to back down. This time it’s long gone beyond the Democrap foolishness.

Another thing to think about is that if you could clean out Hamas from the Gaza, another group would just move in.

PLO2??

You have to change over hearts and minds...

I've heard that a secure grip on the gonads tends to do that very thing.

“And if they don’t get the point, keep speaking the “language” until they either get the point or they’re all gone.”

If it were that easy. You’re trying to consider that they will get a point. But history has displayed they might back off for a while, but they’ll be back just as soon as they can get enough arms and people to do it again. You don’t fight a war skirmish to skirmish. You also get to fight it on the political side.

The home to most of the main groups comes out of the muslim brotherhood from Saudi. What happens if they cut back, or off, our oil purchases? Thanks to the liberal party over the last few years, in that area we are far from self sustaining. And even though Russia sends roughly only 10% of our natural gas, what happens if they see the weakness we display and fiddles with that? And I seriously doubt if the liberal party in power now would go back on their recent actions for petroleum production they have retarded even if they could. No country in the world is self sustaining now.

The US has become a dependency country far more than we were 50 years ago. The last three generations have fallen into the trap of perceived success to the point we can’t do anything but fail. There is nothing but slope below us and it’s slicker than snot. And our “leaders” are tilting the angle. This was one of the major reasons Trump was such a powerful innovation. But he acted a lot like Hamas: he also in many ways didn’t care who liked him and that some feared him while he put “right” in the opponents face. This is why they still fear him. Time will tell on that one.

Every one of the little countries we have gone into and broke even with or lost to has either come back to haunt us or changed their tactics and are back with a vengeance. And in most cases aligning themselves with other groups and are punishing the US. Look at China and Russia. They used to posture and glare at each other and had for a century. Now they are the best of buddies with only one real enemy...the US.

PLO?

They are already there. But they didn’t stay in the overt jihad business. They are a lot like the Italian mafia in that they went business...on the surface. But behind the scenes Hamas and Fatah, chairman of the PLO, conducted numerous negotiations starting in 2004 leading to an agreement in April 2014 for a Unity Government (which lasted until October 2016) and to the recognition of his office by Hamas. And that agreement is still causing the two groups to respect each other enough not to throw a wrench into the agreements.

Any one of the four deadliest terrorist group responsible for the most deaths in 2021 could step into the spotlight: Islamic State (IS), Al-Shabaab, the Taliban and Jamaat Nusrat Al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM). But that’s the tip of the iceberg.

According to the CIA, there are over 60 terrorist groups active today. And those cockroaches can come out of the woodwork about any time individually or in groups. Size matters.

Someone lets them exist; just as we let the Mexicans cartels exist.

“Someone lets them exist;”

Hamas just like many other country controlling groups like the Taliban in Afghanistan, Al Queda is Afghanistan and Pakistan, ISIS and Levant comes our of Iraq and Syria, Hezbollah comes out of Lebanon and Beirut....many more smaller ones but they all work the same way. They come into a country and they build schools, hospitals, roads...all kinds of creature comforts and endear themselves with the locals. So the locals keep them in and don’t question their morals, integrity, or violence since they are a free handout.

From the US Training Center at Westpoint the authors there compiled a list of 430 political groups that warranted the “terrorist” label. Of these, a total of 232 are not active any more as terrorist groups. But their people still remain and can pop up again either as their group, joined with another, or a new name all to do harm and damage to people in the world.

As for the Mexican Cartels, in the deliver of crap over the border they are no better than Columbia, Venezuela, or Panama in the manufacturing and shipping. And they are in another country we can’t go into to destroy. So unless the home country doesn’t wish to do anything about it, it’s not a matter of “let” as it is stuck with. And Mexico has said they would be active in trying to stop the cartels. But like the mafia in Chicago in the 1920’s and 30’s, a lot of crime was ignored by Chicago police due to deals, money, and threats to Chicago police. The language may be Mexican instead of Italian, but the words are basically the same.

In July, nearly a dozen Chinese and Russian warships conducted 20 combat exercises in the Sea of Japan before beginning a 2,300-nautical-mile joint patrol, including into the waters near Alaska. These two operations, according to the Chinese defense ministry, “reflect the level of the strategic mutual trust” between the two countries and their militaries.

The increasingly close relationship between China and Russia has been decades in the making, but Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has tightened their embrace. Both countries made a clear strategic choice to prioritize relations with each other, given what they perceive as a common threat from the U.S.-led West. The deepening of bilateral ties is accompanied by a joint push for global realignment as the two countries use non-Western multilateral institutions—such as the BRICS forum and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)—to expand their influence in the developing world. Although neither Beijing nor Moscow currently has plans to establish a formal military alliance, major shocks, such as a Sino-U.S. conflict over Taiwan, could yet bring it about. And this scares both Taiwan and the US.

But this isn’t new. When Xi Jinping assumed power in 2012, China was already Russia’s largest trading partner, and the two countries regularly engaged in military exercises. They advocated for each other in international forums; in parallel, they founded the SCO and BRICS grouping to deepen cooperation with neighbors and major developing countries.

Since launching its war in Ukraine, Russia has become China’s fastest-growing trading partner. Last year exports from China to Russia amounted to US$24.07 billion, up 47.1%. Imports from Russia grew to US$29.77 billion (+32.6%). If annualized, and projected over the entire year, China-Russia 2023 trade would reach about US$215 billion, roughly 4 times the current amount that is extremely high for them.

So military and trade support have jumped through the sky. I call that an alliance. A good site on this is:
