The kind of war Israel finds itself in is what Augustine of Hippo referred to as a "just war". If you're in that kind of war, the most humane way to handle it is to kill as many of the enemy as it takes as quickly as you can to force the enemy to surrender and teach everyone in Gaza and other goat-humpin', pedo practicin', infidel killin' Muslim paying attention to never, ever, ever, ever, ever attack again.
“... to force the enemy to surrender and teach everyone in Gaza and other goat-humpin’, pedo practicin’, infidel killin’ Muslim paying attention to never, ever, ever, ever, ever attack again.”
That only works when the enemy actually cares if they die or their family dies. Hamas doesn’t. So you kill about 5% of the terrorists in the world, they go back in hiding, and they come out again in the future doing the same things they did this time. The cast may be different, but the intent is the same. You can’t win a war with killing them a little at a time.
But you could easily win the nobel peace prize if you can figure out a way to make them stop what they are doing and not waste time and people. This has been going on all over the world since before the time of Christ.
Another thing to think about is that if you could clean out Hamas from the Gaza, another group would just move in.
Here’s a good view of it from the Director of National Intelligence:

This is not a cell somewhere. It’s a bunch of cells all over the region. And the reason they don’t show them in the US is because they train and procure funds here. And they set up local training and war material facilities. Google Reedley bio lab.
