If the Triple Entente powers had used common sense post WWI they would have kicked the Turks out of Europe and kept most of Turkey, including the Bosphorus Strait for themselves.

You know, one of the lessons of recent history is that you can hate indigenous peoples all you want, attack them all you want, attrite them all you want, and yet they will remain and you won't be able to control the outcome. And BTW what happened to the Gallopoli campaign. As I recall that brilliant strategem was not a resounding success for ourside.

And who pushed them there?

uh ... nobody, Andy

Russia just likes supporting other murderous monsters ... it's always been that way

Turkey has a navy with access to the Med. they have an Air Force with American made planes. They have missiles.

Can always land troops in western Jordan or on the beaches.

I doubt Turkey is capable of doing that. Logistics are important. The Americans are the best in the world when it comes to this.

Turkey may attack using drones. Probe for weakness. Turkey will learn from Iran and use proxies to attack Israel instead.

AP:How a baseless claim about Putin’s health spread from an unreliable Telegram account to TV news

Even AP has higher standards for propaganda than your little of globalist warmongers here.

>>What happens if Turkey invades Israel? Who does NATO and the US support?

Neither. NATO states do not support offensive operations by its members.

Israel is not a member of NATO. So if Israel attacks Turkey, Turkey can invoke article 5 of the NATO treaty which obliges other member states to consider what they should do to support Turkey.

Erdogan wants to be the new Sultan of the Middle East.....

The new costumed honor guard in Erdogan’s palace was more than just kitsch, but part of a larger pattern of reclaiming what the Turkish leader sees as the country’s lost glory.... The last decade has heralded the Ottoman sultans’ return to Turkey—in popular culture, national identity and, most importantly, in terms of domestic politics and foreign policy.

Without the US intervening or Israel using nukes, Israel will be overrun if Turkey makes a massive move on them.

If Turkey does decide to invade, they won’t be alone, Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran in some form and others will also join the battle.

They have a path thru Syria right to the Israeli border, they would have no need to use their Navy or conduct a seaborne invasion.

Syria won’t oppose them, Iran and their militias won’t oppose them, Russia would look the other way and the US doesn’t have the forces necessary in Syria to stop them.

Keep an eye on Libya.....if there is noise coming from there, we may be on the verge of Ezekiel 38.

I wrote this last week but its very relevant to what we are now witnessing each day. It’s pretty incredible that text written 2000 years ago is so accurate isn’t it?

The Bible is the only explanation for “Israel”.

It accurately predicted, over 2000 years ago, the rebirth of a nation against all odds. It also predicted that its neighbors would be full of hate and that Israel would be a thorn that consumed them.

If you know anything about history and geopolitics the year 1948 should never have happened. It remains one of the most unlikely events in human history, but it happened just as it was foretold.

Israel remains the biggest thorn in the Middle East just as it says and no man, president, diplomat, or prime minister will change the design of God.

Israel’s enemies will come against her and God will smite them before his son returns just as it says.

It’s all right there in the Word and while none of us know the date or time it will happen, the final stage is being set before our eyes.

Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and ask yourself what is the one thing that might unite the divisions of Islam and civil wars that burn throughout the region? What is the one thing that might sow so much discord in Western nations that they refuse to do what is right?

14 nations..... 14 voted to support Israel at the UN. 4 EU nation states (smaller ones) voted to support Israel and 8 (the ones that matter) voted against her. The US voted for Israel. The rest are smaller island nations. That’s it. 45 abstained and 120 nations voted against Israel.

I spent a wonderful week in Turkey years ago, and people were thrilled to see Americans then. We traveled all over the country, And even small town totally veiled Turks were smiling at us. One of my favorite vacations,

Then this horrible Erdogan Islamist took over. it’s his fault.

BTW, I’m a female. In Istanbul, we hardly ever saw a veiled woman. Even in small towns, where the ladies were veiled, they were absolutely delighted to meet Americans. Big smiles, and high-fives.
