Tuberville claims wars in Ukraine, Gaza were ‘created’ by Democrats

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), who has held up more than 360 military promotions and created a stalemate that has consumed the Senate for months, claimed the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East were “created” by Democrats.

“They need to be worried about what’s going on in Ukraine, the Middle East, the wars that their side, the Democrats and Joe Biden, have created but you know, they want to circumvent the rules in the Senate,” Tuberville told Newsmax’s Bianca de la Garza on Friday.

Democrats are looking to use a standing order resolution to move more than 300 military nominees who have been stalled over Tuberville’s protest over the Department of Defense’s (DOD) abortion policies.

The resolution would allow the Senate to move the promotions through the end of 2024. It would first go through the Senate Rules Committee.

Tuberville is opposed to the DOD policy that pays for the travel expenses of service members who take leave to obtain abortions. Several members of the Republican conference support his protest.

Tuberville expressed concern that the resolution would take away the limited power granted to him in the minority in the Upper House.

“The only power you have in the minority is to be able to have holds on something to get the attention of the other side, whether its Republican or Democrat,” he said.

For me one of the biggest surprises has been Sen. Tuberville.

The Senate need a lot more "outsiders" (Tuberville was a coach, Rand a doctor etc). It's clearly the way forward

What was his first clue? At least he’s candid enough to say it. However, Democrats couldn’t have done it alone.

“created” if only in the sense that by their stupidity they failed to thwart. Thaey - the Biden team - is to stupid to have “created” either Putin’s invasion or Hamas attack.

Sounds about right to me.

Under Trump, Russia doesn't invade Ukraine and Hamas does not attack Gaza. I'm firmly convinced of this. Both of these disasters happened because of the weakness the Russians and Palestinians perceive in Biden.

Author took a creative journey to eventually arrive at the core of Tuberville’s objections: funding abortion

Democrats need it more than the republicans.

Think General Singlaub/Carter/Korea. The South was a 3rd world s—thole back then and Carter wanted out-leave them to the Norks.

They create the situations that lead to war. Look at the Shah. Gave us hostages and Afghanistan.
The list is long. Would the fence-sitting voters notice?
It has to be pounded in. Under Trump this would not be happening.

Dems are certainly responsible for Ukraine. That was a planned prevacation of Russia starting with them taking down a democratically elected leader and replacing him with their puppets. Not sure how they’re responsible for Gaza though.

Of course the Democrats could not have done it alone, creating a war atmosphere in both Israel and the Ukraine, not to mention the Taiwan Strait. They had all kinds of foreign collusion.

The chickens are not only coming home to roost, they are bringing the chicken hawks and buzzards right on their tailfeathers. The carnage has only begun.

May you live in interesting times.

<><>The US in the volatile mideast BEFORE we even tackle our southern border is ludicrous.
<><>The US should have NOTHING to do with this situation at all.
<><>If the US were to enter militarily it would be a huge mistake.
<><> As in the Afghanistan debacle, we’d get stuck having to take in “foreign refugees.”

Much military aid from US taxpayers has blanketed Israel over the years. They have more than enough resources, now, to nail Hamas and Hezbollah. Wealthy Israel has very low debt, and actually had a budget surplus this year, while the US is $33 trillion in debt, a debt which future generations are saddled with.

Iran is supplying Hezbollah with weapons, sure, but do they want to enter this war directly if they can help it? Israel knows the lay of the land there better than anyone so they must know igniting a regional war could actually threaten Israel’s very survival.

Why are some freepers cheering that on?

Puppet Biden gave Iran $6 billion, knowing that the mullahs would use it to purchase rockets for Hamas. The Israeli deaths are %100 the fault of Biden/Obama.

Obama also fomented a coup in Ukraine during their 2014 elections, and then pushed them to join NATO and implement the degenerate homosexual agenda. That right there is the reason Russia HAD to invade.

When Tuberville blames democrats, he really is pointing a finger at the evil filthy Obama/Biden regime.

Tuberville is correct:

a) the "Biden" rout from Afghanistan was a sign of unparalleled weakness that indicated to Putin that he could act with impunity as he had in 2014;

b) the insane butt-kissing of Iran, transfer of cash and relaxation of sanctions by the "Biden" regime did exactly the same with Iran: we literally funded Hamas' attack on Israel.

Since the AUMF from 9/11 is still in effect, a large number of "Biden" regime officials should be put before military tribunals for treason and shot.

He is on the right track, but he lets Repubs off too lightly. They LOVE the defense industry. They were hogging all over Ukraine, Graham, McCain, Romney, etc etc. And who got Israel to leave Gaza and turn it over? Bush. Who got Gaza to hold the elections where Hamas came to power? Bush. Who created ISIS and the Syrian rebel movement that resulted in widespread radicalization and a flood of Hezbollah into Syria? Neocons....

Swamp fingerprints are all over this and they ain’t all Dem.

Dems can move the promotions forward one at a time. There is no hold. Dems want to create an issue.

Bush started down Ukraine road in 2007 or 2008 with his statement that Ukraine WAS coming into NATO.

“Tuberville claims wars in Ukraine, Gaza were ‘created’ by Democrats”

Obviously the case on Ukraine (at least to people don’t actively lie about the 2014 events in Ukraine). Gaza, not as clear, yet. But perhaps when we start learning how Hamas obtained all of the materials, weapons, and intelligence needed for that attack, we’ll start seeing a lot of DNC Fingerprints, along with some NeverTrumper fingerprints too.

In any case, if the roles were reversed literally EVERY Democrat would be blaming the Republicans...so it’s good to “fighting across the aisle”, rather than “reaching across the aisle”.

Thank you for posting gibsonguy.

I agree with you and Sen. Tuberville. Those wars are just more politically correct excuses to "justify" unconstitutional peacetime taxing and spending imo.

Note that Justice Joseph Story had clarified that such spending is unconstitutional.

If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).

Tuberville's statement is one reason why Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots need to primary all federal lawmakers up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company, Jordan (and others?).

True for Ukraine. The most obvious coups in the history of coups followed by the most avoidable wars in the history of war.
