Without outside aid what country that has the second strongest military in the world on its borders could fight off that invasion with its population engaged in fighting, its power grids being attacked, its factories and economy being destroyed and its cities wiped out?
You and I both know that if Russia wanted to, they could have beaten Ukraine within a month. The fact that they didn’t reveals two things: 1) They wanted to save as many civilian lives as possible, 2) It was a way to deplete America’s military inventory and money.
Don’t play dumb, there was never a path to victory for Ukraine, which is why Time Magazine drew the media short straw and wrote Ukraine’s obituary today.
