It’s just laughable how much time you apparently have on your hands posting crap “scandal” stories like this and other anti-DeSantis stuff on FR. Whenever I see waste of everyone’s time threads like this, undoubtedly your name is at the top.

I’ve said this before, I like both Trump and DeSantis. I’m NOT anti-Trump. I do think he’s going to have a tough time getting elected in ‘24 though, given all the multiple lawsuits, etc. he is facing. We FReepers know these lawsuits are stupid and baseless, but the brain dead American voters will never bother to learn about that, and will vote accordingly.

Trump has been impeached, indicted, investigated, sued, criminally undermined and compromised while attempting to overthrow his presidency, then had his private residence raided by an armed police state...

And you think the left fears DeSantos more than Trump?

Nope. I believe I clearly stated in the post you replied to that I'm leaning Trump. You don't have to win me over. I'm not about to drop Trump for DeSantis.

That being said, they more the left piles on DeSantis the more it's easier to respect him as a #2 choice, especially if the worse they can dream up about him is bootgate. It's analogous to Trump can't be too bad if the worse they can dream up about him is fussing about vote fraud.

It's clear to me the left fears Trump most, but they fear DeSantis at least a little.

Whether or not DeSantis wears lifts in his boots isn't, in itself, a very important fact.

Most of us have known guys who constantly wear footwear that that makes them look taller. When we figure it out, it is almost always hilarious... And that is even without videos of them trying to walk across a stage obviously on his tip toes within his ubiquitous cowboy boots. And it does reveal something about the personality of the guy which is typically not complimentary. At this point DeSantis has been shown conclusively to be one of these guys.

Should he be discarded as a candidate because of it? The more interesting thing to me is the reaction of his dedicated followers. They have shown their nasty dispositions here on multiple occasions previously, but this little comical interlude has caused them to go completely wacky again. It is like taking a stick and stirring up an anthill. This is funnier than DeSantis’s reaction to people finally realizing that has been using deceptive footwear to make him appear several inches taller than he really is.
