This is separate from the group of 8 hardliners and their letter this morning.

It's becoming increasing unlikely a Ukraine bill will ever pass muster with a majority of Republicans, no matter what it's provisions.

We should limit Ukraine support to arms we build and ship.
No cash.
And limit it to half of what we will send to Israel.

I would add...that is if we support Ukraine at all

I don’t blame them. This is their “accountability”.

Click around on this and you will find nothing. It says the world bank dispersed it, but to who all?

They should have been doing that from day one. How many billions of dollars have already been unaccounted for? It’s not as if money this country has sent to other countries in the past hasn’t been misused or disappeared, but they keep doing the same thing over, and over.

The Democrat plan was always to cut aid to Ukraine, blame the MAGA GOP for it (”Russia, Russia” 2024) and get back to partnering with Putin on Iran, energy, etc. Ukraine is obstructing many items on the Marxist Democrat agenda and they can’t wait to ignore European security once again.

Amazing that this yahoo article didn’t say anything negative about this GOP action. Maybe concern about Biden corruption is spreading to all voters.

The first obligation from Congress and President should be maintaining the security of and financial solvency of the USA. That means our ever increasing national debt must be addressed first before even one dime of our tax money or increased debt benefits or goes to any other country. We are no longer financially secure with minimal debt and that must change everything.

It also means every dime that leaves the USA must be fully audited as to who gets it and what it is spent on. I believe these handouts to other countries and their wars are essentially and potentially methods and conspiracies that enable taxes to be stolen from our USA citizens or provide kickbacks to corrupt politicians.

In addition, in return for weakening the financial position of our citizens it should also mean that other safeguards need to be given to USA citizens, such as being given full immigration rights regardless of ethnicity, etc.

We can no longer allow our treasury to be pillaged without checks or balances or benefits to our citizens.

Thank you for referencing that article Mariner.

"House Republicans demand transparency from Biden admin on how US funds are being spent in Ukraine"

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

To begin with concerning taxpayer dollars for Ukraine, Justice Joseph Story had explained that the Constitution doesn't authorize the peacetime federal government to use taxpayer dollars for foreign aid.

If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).

Next, after reviewing the Constitution's Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 (1.9.7), also Justice Joseph Story's explanation of that cause, Clause 7 gives full responsibility for accountability of how taxpayer dollars are spent to Congress, not the Oval Office.

"Article I, Section 9, Clause 7: No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time [emphasis added]."

Justice Joseph Story had explained that the cost of Congress not doing its job to take responsibility for how taxpayer dollars are spent is that the executive spends taxpayer dollars at its pleasure (my words), taxation without representation.

"§ 1342. The object is apparent upon the slightest examination. It is to secure regularity, punctuality, and fidelity, in the disbursements of the public money. As all the taxes raised from the people, as well as the revenues arising from other sources, are to be applied to the discharge of the expenses, and debts, and other engagements of the government, it is highly proper, that congress should possess the power to decide, how and when any money should be applied for these purposes. If it were otherwise, the executive would possess an unbounded power over the public purse of the nation; and might apply all its monied resources at his pleasure. The power to control, and direct the appropriations, constitutes a most useful and salutary check upon profusion and extravagance, as well as upon corrupt influence and public peculation. In arbitrary governments the prince levies what money he pleases from his subjects, disposes of it, as he thinks proper, and is beyond responsibility or reproof. It is wise to interpose, in a republic, every restraint, by which the public treasure, the common fund of all, should be applied, with unshrinking honesty to such objects, as legitimately belong to the common defence, and the general welfare. Congress is made the guardian of this treasure; and to make their responsibility complete and perfect, a regular account of the receipts and expenditures is required to be published, that the people may know, what money is expended, for what purposes, and by what authority [emphases added]." —Justice Joseph Story, Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7, Commentaries on the Constitution, 1833.

In other words, "power of the purse" House RINOs are once again using Biden as a scapegoat for their unconstitutional spending mischief, this time as it concerns Congress's constitutionally enumerated responsibility to inform us how our tax dollars are being spent, most federal taxes being unconstitutional imo.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Speaking of taxation without representation with respect to political party smoke and mirrors of phony popular voting for president, note that the states have never expressly constitutionally given ordinary citizens the specific power to vote for president like citizens have for "power of the purse" Congress, Congress not taking responsibility for how Biden is spending our tax dollars.

In other words, the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties that have pirated control of state and federal governments are deceiving voters into thinking that voters also have constitutional control over who is in the Oval Office.

So since Congress is not doing its job to impeach and remove Biden for a bunch of unconstitutional spending and policies imo, it is up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to effectively "impeach and remove" Congress by primarying ALL lawmakers up for reelection in 2024, except for MTG, Gaetz and Company, Jordan (and others?).
