You seem to think that Poland would do better to leave the West and hook their star to the Russia/China side.
Why would you side with scum who invaded your country, gave half to Hitler and left the rest to be destroyed by the Nazis? The Poles remember, they ain’t going back under the Bear’s Claw after all of these years.
I don’t think they necessarily have to “leave” the West.
But wisdom would not become dependent on a degenerate and militarily decayed Empire to protect them. (An Empire with a long history of abandoning and betraying allies.)

Poland has not looked to Russia but they definitely have hitched their wagon to China. (When I lived there) Poland was hosting loads of Chinese “businessmen” and politicians. Northwest of Warsaw is a Chinese free trade zone that looks exactly like a Chinese industrial zone. Signs are all in Chinese. All brand new brutalist architecture and loads of Chinese workers.
Granted this was a few years ago (came back just before the Kung Flu lockdowns) so I can’t speak for it now but they were VERY interested in Chinese investment.
Multiple posters are evidently ignorant of Poland’s defense buildup. My goodness, they’ve ordered an additional 486 HIMARS launchers in addition to their original stock of 20.
By comparison, that’s pretty close to the number the US has @ present. Also by comparison the US will have sent 38 HIMARS to Ukraine by, well, sometime in 2024...
That doesn’t include the order of a similar system from S. Korea, large orders of main tanks from the US and SK, F-35’s, artillery, and a host of other goodies. Much of the stuff from SK is with plans for cooperative production in Poland. If the bear swipes a paw at the Poles, it’s likely to get it ripped off.
