I was at Burger King 3 days ago, for the first time in 6 months. Bacon Burger, medium fries and drink for $12.49. Rural Western Oregon.
Expensive, but not like the other prices mentioned here.

The other day, my whopper Jr. (more than enough for me) Fries and a drink came to $6.56.
I’m OK with that.

Burger King, central Indiana (Peru, IN), original chicken sandwich meal, $9.50, unless you ask for large fries, then it's a bit over $10.25.
But it's because of prices like this that I rarely eat out anymore.

(Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.")
For many years now, when I’m on the road I seek out grocery stores and eat like a king for under $10. High protein, fiber and all around nutritional balance. Lower salt and fats.
