That needs to be said again.
As long as abortion, or any threat to its availability is on the ballot, the Democrats *WILL* turn out.
We adapt or perish.

Consider this:
When a state, like Kansas or Ohio, votes to keep abortion legal, that state is no longer in play for liberals. They move on.
Their issue has been nullified.

I agree. The GOP has been able to coast on Roe v Wade. Now they have to run on the issue and we are losing. Put it t on the ballot and let the voters decide.

How hard is it to get on the ballot? If that’s the secret sauce we’re screwed.
Look-abortion is legal in England. It’s not an issue there because they voted on it. Roe was not voted on. Hopefully 50 states will decide for themselves. That’s all we could ever hope for when it was overturned.

True statement, we’ve been getting clobbered by pro abortion kamikazes since the Dobbs decision.
Hell, I’m in a blue state that is so indoctrinated in feminist ideology that losing abortion rights was never going to happen, but they still turn out in droves anyway.

The marijuana people and the pervert crowd didn't back off when they were on the losing side. Yes, they had help from the courts and the media, but I am not pro-life to help the Republicans, I am Republican to promote a culture of life.
If being pro-life means the party perishes, so be it. Giving them their way is not victory. We are suffering at the ballot box largely because the party is not united and the 10% continues to have outsized influence after decades of being in complete control. Realignments are ugly, and they take time.
