Why should we need to make a “deal” with people who are shipping illegal product?
Does the US have legitimate companies that produce fentanyl? From experience with a bad case of pancreatitis (very painful) last year, the highly respected hospital used a very small dose to ease the pain. I asked the Doctor what they used that worked so quickly, thinking it was demerol or morphine. He said an medically authorized dosage of fentanyl.
I looked at him and said isn't that drug killing thousands of people? He got a sad look on his face and said yes because of the doses the addicts take. They don't know the percentage of any amount they buy on the streets. He reminded me it happens with heroin and morphine overdoses every day at St. Joseph's Hospital, but kills more because it's so easy to get and less expensive and being imported from China in mass quantities.
My point: Biden should tell his buddy Xi no more will the US import that drug when we can manufacture our own under FDA approval.
