I have watched this over and over again. There is nothing accidental about it. I don’t think there was any intention to kill someone but, it wasn’t an accident.

Watch again. As the other player skated off by himself. Looks like he KNEW what had happened and was “Oh shit.”

No way he didn’t raise his skate deliberately. There needs to be some severe consequences so this never happens again.

The fact that this wasn’t the first time this player brought his skate that high makes it even worse.

I’m quite boring now, and have banished all tv and sports except some tennis and F1 racing.
I haven’t watched hockey since we had Lindros and LeClair.
I don’t even watch my Gators anymore. Though that might be a blessing now.

My only Rangers story is from when I went to a Rangers v Devils game in the late 80’s.
I watched a man walk over to another guy and pour beer on his head.
He laughed, said f you, and walked away.
I was so confused at the time…
