Target has promoted Erik Thompson to Senior LGBTQIA+ Strategist and Pride Lead, according to a @LibsofTikTok post on X and Thompson’s LinkedIn profile.
In his new role overseeing Target’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual marketing, Thompson says he plans to “flip the script and rewrite the narrative of CPG [consumer packaged goods] retail industries to better serve all segments and thoughtfully & authentically cater to *ALL guests, ALL humans & ALL hearts* who enter our stores and across the nation.”

Have not stepped foot in Target since they showed their true colors. And have not missed it once.

The fact that a company has a LGBTQRSTUVexpialidocious senior staffer is all you need to need. What ever happened to selling the most stuff at a price that returns a nice profit to your shareholders - period?

Same here, Target has been replaced with better options.
This appears to be an admission by the Einsteins at Target that they haven’t found a way to break the conservative boycott, so they’ve decided to double down on the trans segment of their market. Yeah that’ll work.

I went to one once about a year ago. Bought a mini vac for 35 bucks. Never going back. Will be out of business soon anyway.
Quite the opposite. TGT beat her earnings fprecast and the stock upped up 17%. But some FReepers still think the “bathroom boycott” hurt them.
