Needs to be all or none. Otherwise hamas will dole them out 50 at time for a unending cease-fire while they rebuild.
I watched videos on the tunnel smuggling operations at the border between Gaza and Egypt. It's insane, thousands of goods smuggled in each day through dozens of tunnels. You name it, they bring it in - refrigerators, couches, TV's, animals, even automobiles (parted out and reconstructed once in Gaza). Much of this is by civilians in Gaza, making insane amounts of money doing it. You betcha they move arms on behalf of Hamas, and get away with doing it. Egyptian border guards get a cut of the cash proceeds.
Gaza is maybe 5 miles by 20. Why does it take 5 days?
Stupid idea mostly... except it’s almost guaranteed the Israelis are using this for rest, resupply, and massive intel gathering.

In other words, to adopt an internatio-political fiction that, if past is prologue, undeniably risks life and limb.

How are they going to get resupplied? They are surrounded by Israel.
