Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin visited Ukraine for the third time on Monday, to reassure its leaders that the United States “will continue to support Ukraine,” despite waning American public support for doing so.

“I wanted to reassure the leadership that the United States of America will continue to support Ukraine. And so, you know, we talked about the things that we’re going to continue to do to make sure that they have what they need to be successful on the battlefield,” Austin said at a press conference with reporters.

Well, they're lying all the time but now I'm confused because they seem to be telling different lies to different people. Supposedly the following message was sent by the US mission to the United Nations - pressing for peace. I guess they can tell us we will support the Ukraine and tell the Ukraine to negotiate for peace because support is leaving. That way the US thinks it looks 'strong' to the AMerican people, who in fact are disgusted.

That's not why he went there....(”to ‘Reassure’ Leaders U.S. Support Will Continue”)....there's much more to it than just that. Likely conditions and time-frames for how long that will continue....and tell Zelensky he needs to get ready to come to the negotiations table.
