Crossing over to Ogdensburg on the bridge can be that little unnerving for those who’ve not used it before, so I am glad nothing happened at that location. Still, very unfortunate that this took place where it did.

All four land crossings between the two countries are now closed.

Color me skeptical, but I think there are more than four land crossings between Canada and a pissant state like Vermont alone.
