Why is the Sierra Club bothering places in the east? They should stick to their own locale. Destroy that first.

By 2028, an additional 20 something gigawatts of coal fired electricity is due for destruction. The grid is in jeopardy. My provider is telling it like it is in every publication of the COOP’s news letter. What used to be an unassailable level of Base Load generation has been compromised by the insane desire of the EPA to dismantle what heretofore provided life saving electricity to an entire nation.
One little bureaucratic agency of unelected morons, involved in the destruction of the nations powergrid. It sounds positively what it is, treason deserving of a swift trial and swift punishment followed by the return of sanity to those that manage to avoid the punishment phase.

Bracken County, Kentucky. I live on the Ohio, 40 miles east of Cincinnati.
I live 10 miles from Moscow, Ohio. In the late 70s, early 80s a nuclear energy plant was 90% constructed there. The “China Syndrome” regulations put an end to that. After a tremendous amount of expense, the plant was converted to coal fired. It was a good neighbor to me, producing cheap electricity until last summer, when it was regulated into oblivion.

They not only shut down our local plant, they disabled the boilers to keep it from being used even if we did need it.
The ones I’m speaking of are completely torn down or are in the process of.
Then let the RATs reap what they sowed.
