I think people who see women in the military as a good thing see them as adding to the military, see them as being additional soldiers and who can be against that?
What people don’t see is that they are subtracting from the military, when you see a female soldier that means a male soldier was removed, so the women aren’t adding to, they are replacing the men.
There is a reason that standards are lower for women and that every military school and course has had to lower standards because of women, it is because they are not a direct replacement for men.
Men and women are not equal.
We are complimentary.
Skill sets are very different and should be appreciated.
Why is that so tough to grasp?

One of the two videos I saw today was of a pregnant female highway patrol officer trying to deal with a violent, probably drug induced criminal on a highway. Had it not been for a 30’s type male citizen running up to help her, I have zero doubt she would have been killed as he was swinging a machete and was completely out of control. Even the male citizen had a hard time with him until a male Sergeant showed up and both of them, working together, got the cuffs on the guy.
The incident highlighted why women should not be put in that position, particularly pregnant women. All she could do was taser him and shout dozens of times to him to “shut up”. And, he’s probably lucky she didn’t shoot him dead.
I’m not against women cops, they are excellent in many situations. But, taking on a crazy male with a machete in his hand is a job only for strong, well trained, highly motivated men, period.
I would argue that having them in tanks-—FREES UP more men fighting on the ground.
