Just more incentive for new recruits to avoid becoming police - especially whites.
And starting immediately with the pull-back in policing since the George Floyd reckoning in May 2020, an additional 10,000 blacks, above previous trends, have died by murder and traffic accidents.
So in a very big irony, Derek Chauvin getting attacked should result in a few hundred more dead blacks.

I think he needs to serve time in prison for manslaughter (at least 10 years).
But if they're out for him and there's no way that prison can protect him, then he needs to be granted parole.
His lawyers should be able to get him out now.
