The border seems like a no brainer. Tanks and A10s patrolling the border might make a few criminals think twice about coming through.

Um, no, thank you.

He already brought in murderous martial law via Operation Warp Speed.

Yep, EO 13825, March 1 2018.

Could you please explain how the revision stemming from that EO includes civilians?

As I read it, military commanders were instructed to consider federal guidelines for sentencing; i.e., when issuing sentences and punishment in the outcome of a Courts-Martial, fairness and equivalency to civilian punishment should be applied.

In no way did the revision to the UCMJ include civilians. Military commanders don't have that kind of jurisdiction.

Like a parent’s threat of a giving good spanking used to be enough to keep the misbehaving kids in line, Trump uses rhetorical threats to make his point. He did that successfully with Russia and North Korea. And, yet we had peaceful relations during his term. Having the looters believe they’ll be shot could be enough to keep the miserable cowards at home.

Wouldn’t that be in violation of the Posse Comitatus act?

Trump has not spelled out precisely how he might use the military during a second term, although he and his advisers have suggested they would have wide latitude to call up units.

This will not turn out well.

The military cannot be trusted to obey orders from Donald Trump. We already saw that in his previous term when they refused to withdraw American forces from Syria on his instructions. Or when a top-level American general promised to warn China of any orders of American military action against Chinese forces.

A very thorough purge of the military forces would be required before attempting to deploy them in American cities to quell insurrections. Assuming that Trump can be reelected, he won't have enough time to reorganize the military before the Democrats start the insurrections.

Let the cities burn instead.

If terrorist sleeper cells that have come up through the border become active, it will be necessary for the military to get involved on US soil. Posse Comitatus might become a moot point.

Trump could ask each able bodied gun owner citizen to go out and shoot one terrorist, then go home.

We are the world's largest standing army.

That’s exactly why you wouldn’t use the military. The government created the border crisis and now you want them to use the military to fix it? That’s exactly what they want! And they have weapons you can’t even imagine that could be used against us.

If you review some of the riot videos Charlottesville for instance has government guys on the roofs of the building throwing firecrackers at the peaceful crowds. So he should start with his own government people and purge the ranks of commies first from the fibs cia and military.

Trump is not talking about regular military. He has always talked about using the National Guard.

Not if an Act of Congress is authorized:

The Posse Comitatus Act consists of just one sentence: “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”

Additionally, Biden Administration ignored the laws of immigration, and actually subverted them to allow millions of invaders in to this nation. Also, are these illegal invaders considered to be civilian citizens?

Let that “military tribunals” cat out of the bag and the Rats will let “military tribunals” wolfs and hyenas out of the bag the next time they are in power. Don’t think there won’t be a next time for them! It will happen! The public is fickle has almost no memory of the past even the recent past, very easily stampeded and herded as we saw with COVID.
