This week was a sad awakening for me. I attended a discussion group regarding the situation in the Mideast at my synagogue. Of the ten attendees I was the only one to express concern about the level of anti-Semitism which was occurring around the USA. Others that spoke expressed their concern about the aggressiveness of the Israeli government and negative treatment of Arabs. I entered the room somewhat depressed that so many people will die because of the Oct 7th attack but left even more upset.

I was not prepared for the level of Jewish support for the Palestinian Arabs. The merging of Marxist ideology and Islamic theology is troubling. Less than 80 years since the end of the European Jewish Holocaust seeing Jews carrying signs calling for “Free Palestine” demonstrates their ignorance of history.

I have jewish friends, some are right wing and others liberals, but they are all agreeing that there is no other way to go than to forcefully attack Hamas.

The problem is that there really are lots of Jews that feel this way. Now they may not be conservative Jews, but they consider themselves Jews in some sense. None of them have a desire to return to Israel, and they even waffle on the necessity of having a Jewish nation (in any meaningful sense ) at all.
A further problem that I notice is that Christian Evangelicals seem to pine for the existence of Israel more than most extra-national Jews. It’s like a parent who wants their kids to behave much more than the kid wants to behave.
Draft everyone of them into the US military and make them serve 4 years in Israel. Then make it the 51st state. Problem solved.
Turn the Gaza into a protectorate.
Synagogues aren’t anymore immune from the infiltration of Marxists than protestant or catholic churches. Far too many believers believe in man and not God. It no longer shocks me when I hear those that profess to be a believer spout out the gospel of man.

In my opinion, the level of anti-Semitism we are seeing today is a direct result of a pretty good percentage of American Jews blindly VOTING DEMOCRAT for the past 50-60 years.
Anybody, regardless of religious affiliation who has been BLINDLY VOTING DEMOCRAT is responsible for the current level of Chaos in America today.
