In a surprising turn of events, Argentine President-elect Javier Milei had an unexpected lunch meeting with former U.S. President Bill Clinton during his visit to New York on Monday. The meeting was attended by Milei’s team as they presented their government program to Clinton and former U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd.
Unfortunately, President Joe Biden will not be meeting with Milei during his visit to the White House. Milei’s visit to the United States began with a visit to the burial site of the seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
Following this, Milei and his team met with Clinton and Dodd in the afternoon. Gerardo Werthein, the likely next Argentine Ambassador to Washington, expressed that both Clinton and Dodd had many questions for Milei, to which he responded clearly.
Werthein emphasized that Milei’s plan aims to address Argentina’s current economic crisis with definitive solutions. With an inflation rate of over 140 percent, a poverty rate of 40 percent, a weak national currency, and a debt of over $40 billion to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Argentina is in dire need of assistance.
Werthein praised Milei’s clear vision and expressed confidence in the collaboration between the United States and Argentina. One of Milei’s key promises throughout his presidential campaign is to realign Argentina’s foreign policy towards the United States and Israel after years of leftist rule.

Meeting with Clinton and Dodd? The only thing they can provide instruction in is how to steal while in public office. And also in Dodd’s case, making waitress sandwiches.
From what I have seen of him Milei is no fool and I don't think he would be starstruck either. Maybe he took the meeting out of simple courtesy.

Javier Milei HATES these people! This was a SNUB from the Biden regime to send Dodd and Clinton to meet with Milei.
Milei is an incoming head of state and the proper person to have met with him would have been the Secretary of State and then the VP.
