Republican fabulist George Santos has been expelled from Congress in an extraordinary vote after his long history of lying was exposed and he was hit with multiple criminal charges.
The Long Island congressman, who stole donor funds to spend on OnlyFans and Botox, fled Capitol Hill as he became just the sixth House member in history to be kicked out.
Over 100 Republicans joined Democrats in booting out the fabulist liar in a historic vote Friday totaling 311 to 114, with two members voting 'present.'
Santos stormed off the House floor minutes before the vote sealing his fate concluded. He warned reporters immediately after that the House 'set a new dangerous precedent for themselves' adding, 'to hell with this place.'
Facing the daunting vote count, serial fabulist 35-year-old George Santos remained defiant until the very end, but said he would leave Congress if it is 'God's will.'
His mountains of lies include fabricating family links to the Holocaust, 9/11 killing his mother, working on Wall Street, recovering from a brain tumor, being of Ukrainian-Jewish descent and starting a charity.

And now the Republican majority will be reduced by 2 when the Democrat Governor of New York appoints a Democrat to replace Santos for the remainder of his term, or until a special election (depending on NY laws which I am not familiar and am too lazy to research.)

This is another piece of evidence that Republicans are generally more principled than Dims. When Nixon committed crimes, Republicans told him he had to go. When Clinton did so, Dims flocked around him, bore him up and refused to convict him. Menendez still occupies a Senate seat, thanks to Dim support. Republicans just booted Santos.
There simply is a difference between the two parties. The GOP isn’t blameless and there are some bad eggs. But the Dims are simply agents of evil with no moral values whatsoever. They prize power above all alse.
We should boot every single demonrat from power, starting with Gyorgy Schwartz.

If it was just a matter of lying about his background I would not vote to expel him, but the criminal charges -- including a guilty plea in one South American case -- were really too much.
So is Adam Schiff yet he’s likely the next career Senator from California.
Santos wasn’t in the UniParty club so he must go. DC is a pit of dishonesty with the January 6th Hoax be on my at the top of this list but hey, the GOP UniParty members showed “integrity” by kicking out a fellow liar whose lies his constituents clearly don’t care about, or at least didn’t get the chance to care about by voting him from office.
I’ve been done with the GOP/RNC since 2016 and the hilarious primaries but this is stupid even for the Ronna McDaniel/Nikki Haley/DeSantis losers of the DC GOP.

Sure would be nice if there were House elections every even year so his constituents could have as say on if they want him representing him.
Governors cannot appoint replacements to House seats. Depending on the state’s laws they can choose not to hold the special election to fill the seat.
He should be flogged, tarred, feathered and made to live with Nancy Pelosi for the rest of his life..................

AND that’s what the 1st Amendment is for - to expose him and inform the public.
He most certainly would not have made it past next November anyway.
Huh, I find it hard to believe that not a single GOP who voted for expulsion has ever been dishonest.
It would have been nice to see how his actual constituents feel about him as their representative via primary voting and the 2024 general election.
