Team Trump declares victory as Arizona court dismisses 14th Amendment ballot case

Former President Donald Trump's campaign on Tuesday celebrated a court victory in Arizona as a federal court in the state rejected an attempt to keep him off the ballot under the 14th Amendment.

"Today, federal court in Arizona dismissed another bad faith, 14th Amendment challenge to President Trump's ballot status. President Trump remains undefeated in beating back these scurrilous lawsuits brought forth by a thirsty, Biden-allied troll in a desperate publicity campaign," said campaign spokesman Steven Cheung.

"Each and every one of these 'Castro Cases' are not only a feeble attempt to interfere with the 2024 presidential election, but they are a huge waste of time for our nation’s judiciary," he continued. "We urge the swift disposal of all remaining 14th Amendment cases putting this matter to rest faster than the recently deceased term 'Bidenomics.'"

The left will keep trying until they find a judge who will rule in their favor. For now, this is good news.

Some “victory”. We shouldn’t have to address it at all.

after enough cases though, this one will be hard when a judge knows they will be overturned.

I’m concerned that if they lose all these cases, and things start to look like either:

A) The court cases are going sour
B) Polling shows that no one cares about the cases and will vote for him anyway

That “they” will have to take “other measures” to stop him.

“That “they” will have to take “other measures” to stop him.”

That’s what all the recent articles regarding Trump and his “threat to democracy” are all about. The articles are meant to normalize the thought that they just had to get rid of him to save the country. He was going to be a dictator you know.

This is just a distraction.

High tech is the only way to steal a landslide.

And electronic voting machines are still in use.

Yep, and this crap is going to get even more outrageous the closer we get to Novemvber 2024. Don’t be surprised if another pandemic hits or a terror attack. These domestic enemies will try ANYTHING to remain in power including murder.

I write regularly on Liz Cheneys Twitter account asking if she can present to me one shred of evidence that Trump is a threat to democracy - even though the country is a constitutional republic - and she never answers me. Matter of fact nobody does.

How he is a threat to democracy? Not once did he ever suggest to anyone on Jan.6th to storm the capital, quite the opposite, he said to ‘peaceably protest’. They spew this crap and expect everyone to accept it as fact when it’s nothing but lies made up entirely by them.

Col SC Justices Appear Skeptical Over 14th Amendment
Challenge To Keep Trump Off 2024 Primary Ballot
‘If it was so important that the president be included in the 14th, why not spell it out?’

themessenger.com, 12/06/23, by Aneeta Mathur-Ashton

Justices on the Colorado Supreme Court on Wednesday appeared skeptical over whether Donald Trump could be removed from the state’s 2024 presidential primary ballot via the 14th Amendment, saying it was unclear if the post-Civil War provision even applies to the presidency.

The state’s seven justices posed questions during oral arguments of whether the courts even have the right to intervene at this stage if Trump has already met the requirements to be on the primary ballot and whether he had indeed incited an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.

One justice, Carlos A. Samour Jr., took issue with the language of the at-issue section of the Constitution since it refers to the U.S. House and U.S. Senate but not specifically to the president. Instead, the provision says “elector of President and Vice President.”

“If it was so important that the president be included, I come back to the question, Why not spell it out?” said Samour Jr. “Why not include president and vice president in the way they spell out senator or representative?”

Justice Melissa Hart said that “nowhere in any of the references to officer, does the Constitution list the president.” Justice Monica Marquez pointed to other provisions listed in the Constitution that refer to “officers” without including the office of the presidency.
