Okay, I’m not being silly this post.

It looks like the guy either had some sort of explosives he cooked up himself or he intentionally let the natural gas into his house (maybe by leaving the gas on from the stove).

He made some paranoid posts on Instagram or Facebook or whatever.

Then when the police came he probably did something to blow himself up.

The residence was a duplex (I looked on Google street view) so I hope the neighbors got out; it’s certain they lost everything they had.

The local DC news at 6 tonight said all the neighbors were evacuated by the cops before the blast, and that the neighbors are getting together to support that one family, including setting up a GoFundMe page.
