This isn't a safe world. You have to protect yourself. There's no second amendment in Israel. The IDF took hours to respond to the initial skirmishes by Hamas while the civilians were getting raped and killed.

The IDF knew about the plans from Hamas to launch the October 7th attacks. But they didn't take it seriously, obviously. I doubt that Bibi had access to that information. So he gets a pass on that one (for now)

The trash about warning signs is self serving gaslighting. In retrospect there are always “signs”. There were hundreds of other signs that didn’t materialize. It is so easy to point fingers in retrospect and to manipulate the storylines to assign false blame. The blame is completely on Hamas.

It is easy for dedicated people to blame themselves for not accomplishing the impossible. It is because they care and they hold themselves to an unachievable standard.

Hamas is evil, they lied, they wove a cloak over their plans and they planned much worse than they accomplished. That is why they must be wiped out and their strongholds destroyed. No people could be safe in the situation that Israel was in. Hamas was a ticking time bomb; a knife pointed at the heart of Israel.
