The only charge reported was possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. NBC seems to go to great lengths to not investigate why he was prohibited.
Does it not fit the universal background check narrative? Does it raise a flag on a long rap sheet with no punishment? Was Mufid possibly on the terror watch list? Are the feds involved so they can bury it?
