I appreciate Duckworth’s military service, but a better use of legislative powers would be to put forth a bill to get our military back to normal by getting rid of the ridiculous woke transformation that has occurred; that’s the REAL cause of low enlistment numbers.
Exactly.
I don't.
I'm tired of hateful, anti-American leftist politicians bragging about their prior military careers to cover up their evil agendas as politicians. Prior military service is not a predictor of future pro-American policies on the part of a politician. At best, it's irrelevant.
There are a few Democrats, very, very few, who, over the years became politicians and managed to retain my gratitude of their service.
And Duckworth is not one of them.
The overwhelming majority of them have done things, or supported those things that have harmed this country.
I am grateful to all who served, but that default respect does not last forever. Negative actions can negate, for me, service they may have performed as members of the military community.
Pay them better too. Better training, which has dropped in quality since Hub’s days in the Navy, 58-78, Ret. SCPO, Avionics = Electronics on Flight Decks.
