I wonder how does it work in Hollywood? I doubt that every writer and actor is political. Who makes the rules? I bet it comes from the producers who are the big supporters of the Democratic Party.

Uhhhh ... Hollywood is not anti-Semitic. If anti-Semitism is creeping in, it is probably due to the DIE commissars and the poisonous grip of the intersectional victimhood calculus. People are being hired for the wrong reasons and some of the “historically underrepresented” groups carry some pretty toxic baggage.
That said, the development of the film industry in the early years of the last century coincided with the era of mass immigration from eastern Europe. Different ethnic groups took quite different paths once they reached America, and that is a fascinating part of the immigration story. The Jews were only a small part of this mosaic, but they punched far above their weight in many fields. They were smart, hard working, and incredibly entrepreneurial. The first generation worked like slaves in the sweatshops to give their children a better chance. The second generation moved into the skilled trades, small business and many more fields. The third generation conquered academia and the professions.
One of the interesting things about Hollywood — and the other cultural fields as well, like music, drama, the fine arts, etc. — is that barriers to entry were relatively low and the Jewish rise to prominence was very rapid. Success in these fields depended above all on talent; that was the main thing. They were in a period of rapid change, which gave an advantage to young people and newcomers. They sidestepped the legacy gatekeepers. Most of the newly arriving Jewish immigrants did not go to California and get into the movie business, but enough did to make a hugely disproportionate contribution in an industry that was just beginning to build out.
So ... when you say that Hollywood is full of “Jew haters,” I would just remind you that the Jew-haters generally take the opposite view, that Hollywood is controlled by a vast Jewish cabal. That’s not true either — but I do note with interest that a number of the newfangled intersectional work leftists in the industry who rushed out with pro-Palestinian/pro-Hamas statements of solidarity are getting slapped down pretty hard. The industry is now trying to restart after two very damaging strikes. It was already overdue for substantial restructuring and downsizing. At least some of the studios seem to be trying to self-correct. That will be a matter of who they are willing to fire and, since the writing and acting positions are mostly short term gigs, who will be quietly blackballed. I doubt that this purge will go nearly deep enough — and that will vary studio to studio — but I think the open anti-Semites have split their own throats.
