I am not in Florida myself. It seemed odd. So many things are more complex than they seem on the surface.
Instead of butt hurt, what is detail on this appointment?

DeSantis is on team rino-light. The leaders of team rino are Marxist Nationalists.
I can’t be sure but I think some in the group of Republican legislators may be more on the RINO side than not. Also the local news has been taken over by USA Today and is very anti-Trump.
I admit because the news is by USA Today and requires a subscription for both online articles and hard copy I tend to just glance once in awhile at the headlines. So I do miss much. The cardinal sin however was never updating the comics page.

Supervisor of elections went in to a room at 2:00am and Colonel Allen West a republican ahead in a race for the U.S. Congress ahead by 2000 votes.
She came out and announced he was 2000 behind.
Just politics as usual here in Saint Lucie County.
Evil has gotten comfortable in America. Corruption is everywhere.
