Even if members insist that they are not yet convinced, it makes no sense to insist that there is no direct evidence while opposing efforts to establish such evidence. These members have opposed any investigation into the allegations from the start.

I got money that says the stupid party will not get it done. At least enough repubs will vote against it so it does not pass. It only takes a few, and buck has already said he is voting against it.

Democrats not only “opposed” any honest inquiries, they impeached POTUS Trump for daring to even ask Ukraine about any of it! Even though Biden was on video saying he blackmailed Ukraine to drop any investigation into corruption. Biden wasn’t even a declared presidential candidate at the time. The diplomats, the military officers all lined up immediately in a panic. Trump had to have been right over the target to elicit such an overreaction.

Now Biden is POTUS, and we are sending $200 billion to Ukraine. Coincidence?

"The final line of defense is to acknowledge that this was influence peddling but that Biden was only trying to support his son."

Treason in the support of a son is a defense?

From the article: “The Democratic Party that I was raised in and supported was more than the party of censorship and corruption. It fought for free speech and good government. There were principles that came before personalities.”

Someone as intelligent and intellectually honest as Turley should have realized by now that in the modern Democrat party *power* comes before everything else - before personalities, and certainly before principles.

The impeachment inquiry vote is to get answers, not to impeach.

Needs to be repeated a few million times.

“ Advocates simply argue that they were merely selling the “illusion” of influence.”

Well that makes it all okay then.
