So he met with Hamas, gave them plenty of kit, pronounced publicly that "Israel has no right to defend itself," and now he wants to pose as the good guy. Too little too late, by hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russian soldiers, and upwards of 1,200 Israelis, and an indeterminate number of Ghazan civilians (the official figures by Hamas are fake). I’m thinking that the hostages are valuable bargaining chips the Hamas wants to warehouse. Israeli captives will be held for THE most advantageous and uneven exchange Hamas can demand. After all, it has been done already… how long did Iran hold the prisoners THEY held in the 70’s??
